Privacy Policy

1. Photos and images

Background removal runs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device Vision framework. The photos you select or capture are not uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to our servers for processing.

Images stay on your device and in your photo library. Your edit history is stored locally on your device only.

2. Camera and photo library access

With your permission, the app accesses your camera (to take a photo) and your photo library (to pick or save images). These permissions are used only to provide the app’s features. You can change or revoke them anytime in the iOS Settings app.

3. Background suggestions (Unsplash)

When you search for or request AI-suggested backgrounds, the app sends your search query to the Unsplash API to return matching photos. Your own photos are not sent to Unsplash. Use of Unsplash content is subject to the Unsplash License and Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple processes your purchase and manages billing; please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for how Apple handles that data.

5. Data we collect

We do not operate our own accounts or backend for your photos, and we do not sell your personal data. The app does not require you to create an account.

Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized analytics (such as crash reports and download counts) through App Store Connect. This data does not identify you personally.

6. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
